The Story So Far...
The Curved Door Store Ltd manufacture high quality, plain MDF kitchen curved doors, cornices and plinths in two ranges (18 mm and 22 mm).
Hi, I'm Paul Dixon, the Owner of an exciting new venture namely the 'Curved Door Store Ltd', I'm hoping you will join me on this journey and YOU will become my customers of the future.
Synopsis: I'm over 40 and I can't remember a day when I wasn't using my carpentry skills in some way or another. You could say I was born a Carpenter, my dad was a Carpenter and before that my Grandfather, so my woodworking roots run deep. I have a wealth of experience in this field, starting from designing and making bespoke pine furniture and progressing to the highly complex, ultra-modern high gloss doors and panels.
As the market force changed over the years, I found I had to 'move with the times' from producing bespoke pine furniture to designing and fitting kitchens locally, which gradually evolved into working for blue chip companies solely making high gloss and veneered flat and curved kitchen and bedroom doors and panels, which includes standard sized doors and made to measure doors.
I'm extremely proud to say that I have a small team of staff whom are all hard working and dedicated to making the 'Curved Door Store Ltd' become a highly successful business. Their ultimate goal is exactly the same as mine, they want complete customer satisfaction, working to tight deadlines and tolerances. My mother, who is also the Company Secretary, keeps all my books up-to-date.
I am completely passionate about producing a very high standard of quality and finish in my products and to that end my team and I have spent an enormous amount of time in researching finishes, products, machinery and materials to ensure our manufacturing is of the highest standards. I pride myself in working to a maximum tolerance of 3 mm in the radius and that's not easy!
We have been based on an old mill complex in Ossett, West Yorkshire, which is a small 'family-like' community and all the businesses help each other out from time-to-time. However, to make a go of the Curved Door Store, my team and I have moved to bigger premises and we will now be based in Castleford.
The 'Curved Door Store Ltd' is a great opportunity for both the general public and trade customers alike to enjoy my products at an affordable cost by cutting out the middle man!
The prices of the doors will be subject to VAT and delivery. Free delivery will be given to UK mainland customers on orders upwards of £800 excluding VAT and delivery. We will aim to despatch your order within 7-10 days.

We started the Curveddoorstore.co.uk with just MDF curved doors, plinths and cornices.
From 2019, Curved Door Store Ltd will now be working at a new factory in Wakefield, which is much more compact and we spend less time walking around and actually working on our projects...
Again, it is a new chapter but we see this as our forever home.
